This week has just flown by so fast! It is crazy to think it is already p-day again! But man has it been so good! We have been doing lots of service this week which is just so nice, it was beyond hot at the beginning of the week then got cold and rainy the past couple of days but it works, we have been pulling more weeds than I ever thought imaginable, but it has been really fun to be outside and just getting to work together with the members. I love it!
On Monday we were heading out to Gudme for an eating appointment with the Elders we had to take a bus for about an hour, but we may have missed our stop and taken the bus all the way out to Svendborg and Elder Lee when he finally realizes where we are goes wait were in svendborg... but we were able to take another bus and then walk about 30 minutes instead to get to her house, we were only 20 minutes late so I call that a win!
We also had a great lesson with Ole this week where he had questions about testimonies, he has been reading in True to the Faith and it confused him a bit so we cleared up the Holy Ghosts role in recieveing a testimony and it then turned into a testimony meeting right there, he then bore his testimony to us and it was so strong. He always says his testimony isn't as perfect as our testimonies are but the spirit was definitely as strong while he was speaking as while we were speaking. At the end, he said he felt the warm feeling in his chest and asked what that was! That is the first time he as ever been able to describe what the Holy Ghost actually feels like! So amazing! Then a few days later on splits we met with him and he said that he had been thinking alot about that feeling and it made him think that maybe this was all true and that maybe he should be baptized. So all is going great with Ole he is moving along stadig roligt but it is coming!
On Friday I was on splits with Sister Wright, the Sister Training Leader and it was so great, she served here about 7 months ago but we got to go visit lots of people and they were all so excited to see her! It realy was a day of miracles because we were able to start teaching a less active that shut down after Sister Wright left, because I guess the Sisters after her weren't the right fit. We were visiting her Mom, Ruth, who on our way out called the less active Anne and said that Sister Wright was back in Odense for the day and asked if we could stop by. Anne was way excited and said of course. And because of that we are now teaching her daughter and she is willing to have us come and visit them. It really just showed me that everything is in Gods timing and is in His way. It was a powerful faith builder.
That same night we had a bonfire at Jonathan's house, Mette that just was baptized said it would be helpful to have more activities that she could bring her son to, so Jonathan and us planned this activity and it was great, we barbequed and a bunch of people came and Mette was so happy and Cody her son loved it because he got to be outside. Just all really great things! It was a blast!
All good things are happening! Got a new bike too so we are back to work at full speed! So much fun! Hope you all have a great week I love you!
