Hi everyone!! I hope you all are having an awesome week! This week has been really crazy! We had lots of different things to do, but it was really wonderful!
First off, we were able to go to the Copenhagen Denmark temple! It was such a blessing. The temple is beautiful and I could really feel that peace as soon as I walked in! We were also able to do a session for our family names, but sadly I forgot to pick them up on my way out, because we were runnning behind and going to miss the train so that was sad. We did the whole session in Danish. It was really strange but amazing at the same time. I was surprised by all of it but it was an incredible experience. The temple is also so great!
That same day we had our new missionary meeting, it was really fun to see everyone from my MTC group! Of course it is always fun to listen and get inspired by President Sederholm and his wife. They are both so incredible! I love just listening to them talk it was, as always, so inspiring and helps to motivate me!
We also had a great lesson with M this week and he really does want to keep meeting with us, which is good because it would have been super awkward to have Thanksgiving with him if he dropped us the week before! But all is good on that front. A sad thing happened yesterday he called us sounding sadder than I had ever heard him sound. He asked if we could meet and said he really needed us and the Elders to come out and help him. When we got to his place the usually cheery M looked so down. It was really heart breaking. He had gotten into a really bad argument with his friends and said somethings that he shouldn't have and just felt like all the progress he had made was gone like he had done something that was too far to come back from. So we all had a really good discussion about the atonement and what it means. That we are never to far gone to turn around and come back to Christ! It really was amazing and the spirit was so strong. He is doing a lot better and even doing his part to make things good between him and his friends. It is baby steps!
We had our investigator C come to church! We walked with her and N (a new member) to church which was really good, because they hit it off and N was able to help her the rest of church! She really liked church but had some problems with the differences between men and women. She didnt understand relief society and why women cant hold the priesthood. So if you all have good ideas on how to go about explaining those things, that would be great? anyway we didnt get to really talk to her afterwards but natasha did and tried to clear things up so that was great! we will see next time we meet with her.
All and all a really great week! We have our huge open house this week so hopefully people will actually come! ahaha who knows they tried to invite the mayor but I guess he just wasnt the nicest guy so well see how that turns out! I hope you all have a wonderful thanksgiving and eat some extra food and pumpkin pie for me!! I love you all so much!!!
