HIIII!
Man has it been a good week! I am really starting to learn the area so even though I always have the map with me I don't have to use it as much! Way good! But it started off Monday with splits with our sister training leaders... which meant I was back with Sister Barrett!! It was incredible! So much fun, that same night we all went up to Svendborg with our elders to this member lan Le in our ward (all the missionaries call her Mor which means mom, because she likes to call us her barn which is kids) but she is a vitetnamise lady and just the sweetest! So we all went up to her house for dinner and it was so good! But the most fun part was karaoke afterwards! She loves singing karaoke with us missionaries so we all just sang at the top of lungs as she danced around. It was way fun!
Then the next day we decided because we didn't have many appointments, usually don't here but that's alright! That Sister Barrett and I would go contact and knock pretty much the whole day. So we contacted our way down to this college and then knocked the college! We found a lot of people and most were way open to listening. I was kinda dreading a day full of knocking but it went by so fast and was a blast! We talked with everyone, we even ran out of mormon.org cards so we had to start giving out post it notes with the website!
We also had a great lesson this week with this couple Jan and Suzanne! They have been coming and investigating the church for a while, but because they are in the process of moving they haven't been able to meet with missionaries in a good while. So we decided one day to text them and see if they needed help or anything and they said we could come by and talk! We were really excited of course! So we went over and not really knowing what to expect we talked with them, and the biggest thing holding them back is that they don't understand priesthood authority! He even said he likes to call himself a member of our church. It truly was a miracle. They also said we could call them and set up an appointment for later in this week, and were just wonderful. You could feel the spirit as they talked! We are really excited about that!
It has been really good, still trying to find those people that are prepared but they will come! We also got to go to 2 church meetings yesterday, one up in svendborg and our regular church. the one up in svendborg was in the top room of a little party place, in this wood house. It was really cute! There weren't many people but it was still a blast to be there!
Well I love you all so much! I hope you all have a great week! Hopefully it's not snowy and wet where you are!
LOVE YOU ALL! MKH
