Hejså!
This week has been very good! It is crazy to think that this is my last time emailing home from Denmark! It just doesn't quite seem real yet...
But anyway, alot has happened this week, on Monday we had a great p-day in København where we saw some sights and just hung out on strøget before we headed back to visit Waleeda. We taught her about eternal families and how we can be together with them forever. This was something she had never heard before so it was wonderful to teach her about it. It is one of my favorite things to teach because I just love the fact that there doesn't have to be a goodbye.
Tuesday was our busy day, we were running all over the place, but it was way good. We visited Minna and got her family history all done, then to Sami, he's been reading in the Book of Mormon and has cut back on his cigarettes! Then we had our first appointment with Elsebeth and Steffan. They are wonderful and were so positive. The spirit was way strong and you could see the gears turning in their heads. It was wonderful! Then we headed to Malene and Jennifers to practice our song and read in the Book of Mormon. Philip, a way good pianist was there to help us too. We are singing next Sunday in church!
Wednesday, we met with Eva and read, she's so cute and we met with Sunil, he even came to church this week! He just like showed up and sat down and I look over and there he was! It was great! Sister Mann's bike also died on us, we tried pumping it up but let's just say the tube didn't like that and decided to explode right on through the tire... so we are on our gå ben for the next week! desværre
Thursday was splits, so I went up to birkerød with Sis Hansen. It was a blast, Sister Hansen is in her first transfer but is just hilarious! We had a good time trying to find our way around while contacting for a good while. But we didn't get lost so that is a plus! :)
Friday we met with Lene in the morning in Birkerød she lived way out there so we found our way on busses and it went very well she is a recently reactivated woman who is just so sweet in their area. Then we met with the Sisters and had our cleaning check in our apartment. Then to end off the night Ester! She had just gotten home from work so we went over and talked with her. I love her!
Saturday, We practiced our song. So basically the thing that happened was Phillip our pianist wasn't going to be here this week (yesterday) so we had to postpone when we were singing so Sister Mann said she would play her flute with a different pianist this time and we'd do our big thing next time. But when she was practicing with l Lene, Lene asked me to sing so I was like sure why not. Then she said I'd sing the solo on Sunday and I'm not so good at that so I was able to convice Elder Millward to come and sing with me, so I wouldn't have to do it completely alone. We had our practice Saturday before basketball. Zhungyu came to basketball and loved it! Said he would come next week!
Sunday we had church and the song went way well. I was super nervous but Jennifer sitting next to me was just like "say a prayer than just do it!" That is exactly what I did and said a prayer and I did it and it went very well. We sang "O My Father" in danish and it sounded very good. Still really glad Elder Millward rocks and would sing with me! So it went great. Sunil loved it! He even gave us flowers afterwards! Then we had dinner at Esters to end out the evening! Always the most delicious food and the funnest conversations!
Anyway this week has been fun, I still can't believe I am on my last week, just wanted to say how much I have loved being on my mission. It has been the greatest thing ever and I would never take it back. I have learned so much and met so many incredible people. It is the best decision I have ever made. God is real he is our Father and he loves each and every one of us. Christ died so that we could all live again. He understands everything we are going through and will help us. We never have to be alone. God hears our prayers whether what we are asking for is big or small her will answer them. He loves you all. I know it. I love you all and just want to say thank you for everything! have a great week and I'll see you on the flipside. :)
