HELLO!!
I sure hope you all are doing wonderfully! It is crazy that it is already pday again, like time flies by so fast! But I sure hope you all are having a great week!
This past week has been wonderul! Way busy but fun! So the first couple days we didn't have much time to do actual missionary work but we did everything we could. Tuesday we traveled to Sjælland so that I could take my language test, which was super easy, like not even a problem the biggest problem was trying to stay awake during the test, but with the train rides there and back we only had time to head to a dinner appointment and then meet with Alice afterward. Alice is adorable, she just got opperated on so we have been going over and doing service and reading through gospel principles with her. We also brought the Elders over there on Friday and did yard work and clean up work in the house and then had a pumpkin waffle lunch with her. She loved it. She just kept saying how nice it was to have life in the house again.
On Wednesday we had district meeting after district meeting, and Ole in between. He had studied a lot in Alma 42 and was a little confused so he brought a paper full of questions and we answered them. It went really well and he even said that he had started being able to recognize the spirit more in his life, like how awesome is that??!?!? Big improvement for him!
After the 2nd district meeting we headed back to our apartment for cleaning checks, the elderly couple came and the Svendborg Elders came to fix our sink which had been leaking since forever! So they were fixing that up while Sis Parker checked the rest. The sink was filled with years of sisters hair... GROSS so they had fun cleaning that out. It also needed parts so they went that night to fix it up. Also, while the Elders were at our apartment they checked out my bike to see if they could fix it... turns out the gear shift was really rusted to the point that it had split in half so the whole pedal system didnt work. SO that was good news.. not so much.
Thursday, I decided to just buy a new bike, because it would cost more to fix it then to buy a new one so I did it, I got a nice baby blue bike that is a beaut to ride on. Seriously the greatest to be back on bikes! We also had a great lesson with Lars, and he then came to cookie aften. Which was really great and everyone who came had a great time!
On Friday we also went and visited Anja with the intent to talk about temples, she really wants to go and go through so we thought to begin reading preparing to enter The Holy Temple book with her. She as soon as we got there brought up temples and said that she only had 3 classes left and her interviews were scheduled so she had actively been preparing! So incredible! We read D&C 109 with her and afterwards she asks us if we want to know something crazy we are like sure.. then she says "we read this section in class last Sunday and I have been trying to find it ever since so I can read it again!" I was like wow! The Lord knew that we needed to share that chapter so that she could find it again. It is so amazing what we can all be led to do if we follow the spirit!
On Saturday we celebrated Maries birthday with her, so much fun, lots of missionaries and lots of food! Then Sunday we had double church and then a homecoming party for a member who was serving in Canada. She was adorable, a really funny talk and a great party! Even introduced us to her non member friends and family who she thought we could teach! Still being a missionary even after being released! so great!
All in all a really great week! I sure hope alll going well with you! I love you all so much!
