HII!
Well I really wasn't kidding last week when I said that it wasn't summer anymore. Since last Monday it has rained straight everyday! It has been super crazy and I never realized that it could really rain so much! We've just learned to love biking in the rain.
It has been a great week with Sister Rovig, kinda crazy with plans and everything but really awesome. It is just so much fun! This week we biked all over like crazy trying to find all of the people to teach! it was great but turns out Aalborg is more complicated than we knew, with all sorts of bike paths. Preben is doing wonderful, he has been reading in the Book of Mormon and everything and loves coming to church. He is just the cutest old man ever.
We also did service for the bishops family on Saturday, they had a big party for their daughters birthday and we helped set up and do pretty much anything Maria Louise the wife needed. It was so much fun and way great to get to know all the members even better there. All wards here in Denmark are made up of huge families so their Klitgaard Familie is one of the big ones and they are just great. But even though it rained all Saturday during the outdoor party, it was still really great.
Also, while biking on a bike path we had an unfortunate encounter with a scooter than may have ran into my bike, but it all worked out, the bike was a bit messed up but we called a the great Susanne from our ward to see who we could call to help us, she then called her dad, who came and picked us and the bikes up, then drove us to a bike shop and we got my bike in to be repaired then drove us home. And that day we got so many calls from the ward members to make sure everything was alright. This area is incredible and so are the members, they are really willing to do anything we may need and are just so willing to serve. I feel so lucky to serve here and know that there are so many good examples here. I love it so much and am really excited to continue getting to know them. One thing I have learned on my mission is the best way to make a difference in peoples lives is by being yourself. It will help them be more open and feel your love and we all have something special about us, and it is our job to share that, and we cant do it if we are trying to fit into a mold or the crowd, youve gotta be yourself and be comfortable with it.
I am so glad I get to stay here in Aalborg another transfer! Have a super great week! I love you all!
