HI family!
How is everyone doing? Man I love hearing from all of you! I cant believe I only have 4 days left and after today, I only have 1 more class day sadly.
Well I did get my flight plans which means my visa did come. 4 out of the 9 of us danes didnt get their visas and have been reassigned to either arizona or missouri. Crazy how things work. I guess it is a little bit tougher to get visas than I had thought! I leave on Monday and make lots of stops!
Well this week was kinda crazy. This week we also had our last sacrament meeting here so we sang our goodbye song and everything "Delig er den himmel blaa" was the song. It is a Danish Christmas song that isn't translated into english so we thought it would be fun to sing.
We have not seen the Relief society broadcast yet, they are having us watch it Saturday while the Elders watch priesthood. So I am very excited for that. I am glad to hear you all enjoyed it. I am very excited for general conference this weekend, even though it won't be as comfy to watch it here as it is at home!
We taught/ skyped for our trc with a real danish person this week which was exciting. We also taught our one investigator for the last time on Monday which was very sad.
We were also serenaded by our Elders this week. Two of them are very musical, One can play all sorts of songs on the piano, from harry potter to phantom of the opera. MOM You would have loved it! Then, a dutch missionary in our zone, played the piano and sang for us, he is pretty amazing too. He sang and played the piano in the Lds video come unto christ from a little while ago. So if you get bored watch it and that's who sang to us!
Also there is this fun Christmas song in Danish where they sing and run around the Christmas tree so we love singing that song; and since we dont have a Christmas tree we used one of the sisters (because she was wearing a green shirt) and sang and ran around her. It was so fun!
I am sad this is the last week to get dear elders those were always so nice but I am so excited to finally be going to Denmark! I cannot wait! As of right now, it is the Elders, two Sisters, and I that are flying over to denmark together so that will be a pretty fun flight and hopefully I'll be able to catch up on some sleep!
Man I'm sorry this letter isnt too spiritual, this week has been hectic but it also has been so good. I have learned so much here and my testimony has grown so much each day! I have really come to understand the importance of loving others and serving them and if you do that the Lord will help them to understand and help us to be able to share the message we want to get across. I just love it!
I love you all so much and I am so excited to talk to each of you!! WOW YOU ALL ARE THE BEST!
LOVE,
Sister Hadfield
