Hey everyone!
I hope your all's week are going great! This week has been wonderful but so crazy! I don't even know where to begin... I guess I will begin by saying that we had transfers today and guess what?!? I got transferred to a place called ODENSE! It is about a 40 minute train ride from Slagelse on the next island over. So I am officially no longer in Sjælland! But I am in Odense a wonderful place. I am companions with a Sister Møhlolt who is from Slagelse! She is so great! I just met her this morning and she is the sweetest! Plus she will help me a lot with Danish, because she doesn't speak any english! So after this transfer hopefully I'll be fluent!
SO we found out about transfers on Friday afternoon at our zone training, it was really special because President told us about them live. We all sat around in the chapel and he went from one person to the next and told us our assignments! So neat! The spirit was strong and just testified that the new areas and companions are where and who we are supposed to be with. That the call truly did come from the Lord!
Also, this week we had a pizza party with Solveig and her granddaughter, Natascha, and the elders. So we went with Natascha to pick up the pizza from this place called Paradisio Kebab. The next day after I was so sick, and so was Elder Madsen, so we are assuming we got food poisoning from it. It was funny becasue that day that I was way sick we had a lunch appointment with Hans and just before we go in, Æ Madsen throws up in the bushes... then after each course of the meal (there were 3 courses) I was in the bathroom throwing it all back up. So gross and not fun. But we kept going and met with everyone we had planned to meet with, just made sure there was always a trash can somewhere close by! I didnt want to go in early but the zone leaders told me I had to call Sister Sederholm and tell her what was up and she told me I had to go home and sleep early. But by that time it was already 8:30 so it was really only a half hour early!
And it was really nice because today really early Francesco came and drove us to the station so we didnt have to walk with all my luggage. And that was a blessing because Tina then helped us on the train with my luggage and bike. Seriously the most stressful thing is trying to get off and on the train with all our things. Because if you aren't fast enough the doors shut and it is bye bye bike or suitcase! But I still have all my things so it all worked out!
The rest of the weekend we made sure to stop by and visit everybody so that I could say goodbye! The Slagelse ward is very special and I love them so much! I was so lucky to serve there! But I am very happy to be here in Odense and spread the gospel here. This place is a bigger city and lots more young adults here. We live really close to the city center so that is a blast! I am not really sure what to say other than that this is the Hans Christian Andersen birth place so all the pedestrian crossing lights have a man with a cane instead of the regular walking guy so that is pretty awesome!
Well I love you all so much and hope you are having a great week! Happy early Valentines Day!
