HEJ!
It has been one crazy week of traveling but as usual traveling is always a blast. We started out our week with Kathleen, she prayed again that we would stay and thanked God for the blessings we are in her life. I love Kathleen, she even called our president and thanked him for us and told him we were her favorite. Lets just say Kathleen is a character that we just love with all our hearts.
That same day we went to Camilla's she was one that we just started working with to help come back to church, and she brought up the book You are Special, the one with the creator of the people and they put stickers on each other and there is that one girl without any on her and the boy wants to know why. It is one of my favorite books, so we were able to talk about the fact that it doesn't matter what anyone else says it matters what God thinks of us.
Then we went to Kate Jørgensen, she made us and the Elders dinner, she loves writing poems and wrote a poem to us Sisters as a thank you for all the help we have been cleaning and just being there for her. One thing about Danes is that they aren't always easy to get into their hearts, it takes time, but if you show them they matter to you and care about them they will let you in and you will be in for the rest of their lives. It is something I love.
Wednesday was the trip to Germany, so we took a train to Flensborg, right over the border. We were supposed to go shopping and come home. It was way fun long trip we finally found our way to the shops and went around. It was alot like Denmark stuff except the food is alot cheaper so we stocked up and brought back loads of special things for everyone back on Danish side things´-lots of promised american soda and german chocolate. It was crazy because of all the refugees. Our train home was delayed 2 plus hours because at every stop police came on and took off refugees. It was honestly really sad. It made me realize how thankful I am for all that I have. These people have left their homes and some their families with the hope of a better safer life. The train station was full of them and it was sad, puts into perspective everything that we have and do. I am so thankful that I have a family and a home and don't have to worry about what will happen to me the next week or when I will have a home. It makes me extremely grateful. We did make it home from Germany late but that is okay, the AP's knew it would happen.
Then the day after we had a wonderful appointment with the Knudsens the cutest family in our ward. They just all make me so happy! Just a way solid family!
Friday... moms birthday! :) we traveled down to århus for zone conference, it was all about family history. We are doing some hard core new ideas with that, we will see how it works out! Then we went on splits with the Horsens Sisters. I love them so much. I got to be back together with Sister Sorensen again! It was awesome. We got to go to their district activity and just play around and do random games with their district. Way fun! Then we all traveled down to Horsens together and were with them the next day. We played soccer and Omar, I met him last time I was down on splits, he is one of their investigators, came to play and remembered me and was a blast to talk with him again, he is working towards baptism and it is way great.
Our Sister training leaders are pretty spectacular, just way funny not really the Sister training leader type which is the best thing ever. They just really care so it was a fun splits. Then we traveled back up to Aalborg and had dinner at Jens and Jane. They are hilarious. just a way fun ending to a great week!
Well I love you all alot! Have a great week! :)
