Hej venner,
So some crazy things have happened this week, really big changes. So fasten your seat belts and get ready.
The really big news is zone conference. We watched this video Called, The Death Crawl or Give Me Your Best. The spirit was so strong while watching it, because in life we get distracted by goals and destinations. We think, my best is just this much and nothing more, I can't give more than that. But in the video, there is a football player that says he can crawl to the 30yards but nothing more. By doing this we limit ourselves, we are already giving up before we even start. The couch proceeds to blind fold him and says I think you can make it to the 50, now go.. The blind fold is there as a representation that we need to put aside our worldly limits and rely on the Lord. He is the one that truly knows our potential and where we can make it to.. I will not spoil the video for you :), but I highly suggest that you watch it!
In General Conference they talked a lot about our potential, the divine potential that we, as Gods children, have. We can do more than we think, be better and strive to do Gods will. This world is just going to get worse and worse. We need to spiritually prepared, but also Stand up for what we believe in. This morning I read, for the 100th time, "Stay by the Tree." In this talk it talked about how we can not do a swan dive back into babylon and think that that is okay. Rely on the Lord and strive to be the person you can.
If there is one thing that Danish people know how to do, it is throw a party!! We went to a members 50th wedding anniversary. It was amazing to see all the people come together and support this family. When Danes get together, they ALL get together. It is a huge hygge fest. I love this about them, they love everyone and are just one big happy family!
Me and Søster Rovig are staying together, and It is because of Kathleen. We were over there last week and for the first time ever she said a prayer!!!! She prayed that the "big man upstairs" would keep her two favorite sisters together! And we did!!! :)))
Random thing.. Sister Rovig and I eat more than our Elders.. we had a burger eating contest and we won.. not sure if we should be proud or disgusted. Who knows?! hahah
love you all and hope your week is great!!!
