HIII!
Wow this week again has blown by so fast, I can not believe it. Each week just goes by faster and faster! This next week is the last week of the transfer so we find out Thursday about who is transfering and as much as I hate it, I think I am going to be transfered out sadly. But I just really love this area so that will be sad but hey I knew it was going to happen eventually!
Anyway this week, we had movie night and it was a total hit! We had so many people there and they loved it. One thing that really helps investigators feel more comfortable is activities that are more laid back and relaxed where they can meet people in a chill setting so that was a blast. That same day we did service for a less active older lady Ellen. I mowed her lawn and it was so high, like knee high and it was fun because they use the electric lawn mowers, there were multiple times I thought it might break the mower but it worked out. She is super cute and fun and was just so happy. Service really has opened her up to us alot more and she said we could come back again :)
One huge miracle was Pitsi, this little greenlandic lady. I am still a little unclear about how she got back in contact with the missionaries but that she after one appointment set a date for baptism, came to our movie night and came to church and she loved it. She is really open and after having had a dream about following the missionaries she is able to trust in God enough to do it. We have an appointment with her on Wednesday and are really excited to meet and begin teaching her. Funny story about her, we went to save her number in our phone and it turns out she is the same lady we tried calling a while back after getting her as a referal from the Elders but at that time she was super busy and couldn't meet. It really is a small world and the Lord is helping the work move along. Her baptismal date is the 15th of August!
Also, it was Sister Thompsons birthday on Saturday so we worked out really hard (we had 11 people at the workout : us 4 sisters, 2 elders, 2 girls from the ward and 3 guys from the ward) all there to do cross fit workouts, Sister Thompson is a boss! After we had soccer which was oddly more intense than usual but fun, then for lunch we went to this fun international market. They had a USA booth but let me tell you it didn't look like American food, then that night we blind folded her and carried her around and sprayed her with some water guns, had a bit of a water gun battle then gave her presents and ate the pie the elders made. She is way great! Being in the 4 sister apartment is a blast.
Then yesterday in church, it was so great, we were able to help Pitsi come and Ole came and bunch of other people we are working with. The work is really moving along and I know it is because the Lord is helping us at each step of the way. He loves us and knows exaclty what needs to happen!
I love you all! Have a wonderful week!
