Hey!
So this week has been really great, the work just keeps moving forward and all is going really well. We have been working even harder this week to find those that are actually positive and stop meeting with those that just like to hygge and don't really want to change their lives. So that has been really refreshing. Fall is definitely here, it has been getting darker and darker each day, it is really strange to be biking home in the dark. But hey its Denmark.
We have been working on finding and set out a huge text to all those on our phone to invite them to basketball, we got tons of texts back, but one guy, Shawn, actually came. He was way excited and is actually really positive. Said he lost contact with the missionaries a while back because of transfers and it just didn't work out but that he wants to meet again. So we are super excited about that. We also were going through our phone calling people to see what numbers we needed and we found this woman, Anni, who said she missed getting visits from the Sisters and that all the sudden they stopped. She was one that fell through the cracks with transfers too. It was so wonderful! So we are meeting with them both now!
Pedro is doing so much better too,he has cut back to 5 cigarettes a day and you can see it in his face that it is helping his health. So we are still working with him. We gave him spanish pamphlets and he actually understands more now than ever before. It is wonderful!
On Saturday and Sunday we had Stake Conference which is wonderful! the Stake consists of all of Jydland and Fyn, so all the people from Odense too! It was wonderful to see them all. They are doing so good and it just made me realize how much I love them! It made me super happy too to hear about the progress they are making.
One thing I have learned is that missionary work is all about love, break it all down and you can't help anyone if you don't love them first. It just doesn't work. If you don't open up and love those you are around there is no way they will open up to you. The key to Danes hearts is love and actually caring about them. They won't care what you say until you show them that you actually care. It is the greatest thing, just open your heart and they will open theirs.
Well I hope you all have a great week! I love you so much!
