HII! Merry Christmas to everyone!
I love you all so much! I cannot believe it is Christmas already how crazy is that! The Christmas season is so wonderful and is really special! This past week has been the greatest! So busy but those are the best kinds of weeks! It is so nice when we finally get home at the end of the day and we can look back and smile about everything we have done!
Well we find out about transfers today.. should be anytime now, but our assistants have not called us yet, so I guess we will see! Who knows whatll happen. If I get transferred I will leave Slagelse the 29th of December! Well actually I just heard from the assistants, so I will be staying in Slagelse another transfer!! My new companion will be Sister Reed who was my companion in the MTC! So that should be exciting!
Anyway, This Christmas season has been full of miracles. I have seen them each day this week and each time something incredible happens I realize even more that God is with us and that Jesus Christ is helping us daily. I am so amazed by all that they do for us, we really are never alone, there is always someone watching over us.
One of the big miracles we saw this week was with this hindu family, that we had contacted on the street a while back and each time we stopped by, they never answered. But this time they did, they invited us in and we had a wonderful lesson. We set up an appointment to come back and they were so excited. They are very religious and go to church hoping it will help the father because he is sick. It truly was just the right timing in everything.
Also, while we were in Kørsor one night trying to contact a potential, we had a few extra minutes before we had to head to our bus. We really didn't know what to do, there was no one out on the street to talk to, so we decided to pray for guidance. After the prayer we both agreed that we would knock on a few doors and see how it goes. We knocked on a few, no luck, then we came to this one door and this romanian family welcomed us in, we watched "He Is The Gift" and they said they would love to get a copy of the Book of Mormon in romanian to read. It was truly the Lord that told us to knock a little and not just to leave. I am so thankful for his help.
On Sunday, our investigators M and M, from Iran came to church. They don't speak much danish or english so it is hard to communicate but they had many questions. We were able to have them talk with H a member in our ward and he was so great in helping to fill in and answer their questions. They understood it all and seemed like they really liked the ideas about Joseph Smith and said they wanted to keep meeting with us. It was a really special week!
Also, our Bishop is wonderful! We went to his house this week for an appointment and it was so much fun! The whole family is a blast! We will be spending new years at their house! So that'll be exciting!
We have done lots of Caroling this week with the elders, and we usually do pretty well, not too many problems! We had this one time where we totally broke down laughing, at the bishops house, because the elders aren't so good at the bass and once they start laughing it all kinda comes out and we just cant really pick it back up again!
We also had this great bus ride up to Sørbymagle, where the bus driver recognized us from a previous trip we had been on and he said we could ride for free so we sat there and talked with him all the way there and all the way back home. It really was a great talk, we gave him the "He Is The Gift" card and everything!
It has just been a really good week and I am very excited for Christmas and to skype the family! We are having a big celebration with T and F and the elders on the 24th and the 25th at the K to skype home! Itll be really fun! Love you all so much! Have a wonderful week! See y'all on Thursday!
