HI everyone!
I hope you all are doing well! I love you!! Wow this week has gone by crazy fast and getting colder and darker each day! It is funny because it starts to get dark here around 3 in the afternoon and is like pitch black by 4 or 430! kinda messes with your head because it feels like it is so much later than it actually is! But I am getting more and more used to it!
Well this week has been super good! We have had so many wonderful appointments this week! Last monday we met with this sweet less active lady. She has been sick for a really long time and having trouble with many different things. She was really feeling down on Monday when we met with her, and didn't really feel Gods love much in her life. We talked with her for a long while about God and the different ways He shows His love for us. She asked if we could ask one of the priesthood holders in our ward for a blessing. So the next time we came back and met with her she was doing so much better. We had a member come and give her a blessing and we talked about the first few steps of the plan of salvation. She was so happy and even bore her testimony about God and why God would send us to earth. She was so happy at the end of lesson, it was an amazing transformation. AND she said she wanted to come to church this next week with us. This would be her first time back in church in a long while! it is super exciting. It is so amazing how much she has changed since I met her my first day here and now. She is amazing and really does have such a strong testimony! I love it!
We also met with a less active in our ward and have met with her regualary since I've been here and she came to church yesterday! She was so excited and loved listening to all the testimonies! It was wonderful! And she said that her grandson would be interested in learning from us!
We have had lots of luck this week with member referals! we have 2 new investigators through members and it is awesome!
On Thursday we went up to Copenhagen and saw all the sights Ny Havn, The Little Mermaid, the harbor all of it. Even ran into a concert on our way out! It was so fun! Copenhagen is seriously so beautiful and we got a little shopping done! Found a very nice warm scarf so that was good!
We were on splits for Friday morning which was fun, then we had our big halloween party at a members house! Us and the elders were in charge of the haunted house aspect of it, so it was really fun! They have this old barn that is really creepy so we turned that into the haunted house! Turns out danes do celebrate halloween too! It was so much fuN! and there was pumpkin pie which I guess is a delicicy in denmark because you have to hand make the pumpkin filling they dont sell it!
Anyway this week has been so good! Each day I learn more and everything! With the haunted house and it getting dark so early, on the drive home we were talking with the elders about fears and about how it does get a little creepy out and one of our zone leaders said he used to get kinda freaked out at night but then he realized that all you have to do is a say a prayer and he didnt feel like he was alone anymore. It is really great how a prayer can change everything. It just testifys that God does listen to our prayers and that the Holy Ghost will comfort us! I am so glad we can all have the Holy Ghost with us!
I love you all so much! you are amazing! love you and miss you
