HELLO!
I sure hope you all are doing so good! I love you all so much! Not much exciting has really happened this week so this will probably be kinda short but that's alright!
We had a great appointment with this man named Ole. He is older and has been investigating the church for about 6 months but he has never really gotten an answer if it is true of not. He is expecting angels or a big sign to come. But we had a great lesson about the Holy Ghost and how it can just come as a still small voice, it could just be peace or even a feeling that everything is good. He had never thought of it that way because many times in the scriptures they see angels or signs sent down from heaven. So we lead into baptism and talked about how sometimes God tries our faith to see what we will do before he gives us an answer. So I talked to him all about how making a baptismal date would help him to show his faith to God. He is a little hessitant because he doesn't want to commit to things too easily. But he said he would think about it, and sense then he has texted us multiple times asking for chapters to read and asking us if this feeling is from the Holy Ghost or not. He truly is the sweetest man and just wants to do what God wants! So hopefully we can help him see what that is!
Also, Sunday we had stake conference, which includes all the people on Jylland and Fyn (my island) so it was a big group, so we took the train early on Sunday and drove into århus about 2 hours away. It was so fun! I got to see all the missionaries serving on those islands. Which meant I got to see Sis. Thompson and Sister Barrett!! and a bunch of others like Elder Reber from the MTC group, just so fun to see people again and see how much people have changed. It was a wonderful meeting and good amount of people came!
After the meeting we trained back in and later that night we had an appointment with Bart. I had never met him before, he is from some where else and speaks english, so Sister Mølholt didn't know much about him either,so we got the bishops wonderful wife to come with us. I had called Bart and set the whole thing up that morning and we go and knock and he comes out and starts talking to us on his doorstep, we were so confused why he wasn't inviting us in, and then we ask him like can we come in and talk and he goes I don't have time right now but can we find another day? I am so confused because I had talked to him and he said he was free the whole night. So then out of the blue he goes call me right now, so I take out our phone and call him and another man answers... I was like what is going on then Bart takes the phone from me and starts talking to the man. Turns out it is one of Barts friends that lives a few doors down. It was all so confusing and a little awkward but hilarious at the same time! So we made another appointment and left. Cecilie (the bishops wife) thought it was the funniest thing! We were dying! You just never know what to expect!
Well I love you all and hope you have a great week!!!
