HI everybody!
I hope you all are having a great week! Ilove you all so much!
This week has just been wonderful! It was really great to have zone training and also go on splits with the sister training leaders! They are really great examples and great missionaries so it was so great to be able to see them and learn from them. We got to go on splits with two sisters this week! It was kinda crazy because last minute they told us they would both be coming to Slagelse instead of bringing Sister Reed up to Glasaxe where they serve! so that night we had to find more people for another companionship to visit, but it worked out and it was great! I was on splits with Sister Grant to begin with, she served in Slagelse a year ago so that was fun. All four of us went to visit Mark at the church and then we split off and we went to Tinas to surprise Francesco! It was wonderful he was so happy and we had a great talk about his baptismal covenants! Then we switched sisters so I was with Sister Wright (funny story I was at her farewell party at her house in Draper) so that was fun! and we contacted this group of like 7 or 8 drunkish guys but they had heard about our church and had many questions so that was a fun different experience! Then the elders came and picked us up and we watched The Other Side of Heaven with a recently reactived member Jonas! It was a very excited busy day!
Bettina also had her interview with bishop yesterday and she is all set to go to the temple on Saturday!! We are so excited to go with Bettina to the temple, she was the happiest after coming out of her interview with bishop and is really excited to go and be baptized for others in the temple. I feel like it will be a great begining for her with temple work and that it will really strengthen her faith and help her family too!
We are also very excited about our investigator Marianne, we had a very powerful lesson yesterday about priesthood authority and she really was able to grasp the whole concept and really understand that there is only one prophet. She even prayed to close the lesson and prayed asking God to tell her if Thomas S. Monson is the only prophet. It was just an incredible experience! I am so excited to keep working with her and help her to understand more and more about the gospel.
ALSO! I gave my first talk in church yesterday! I was supposed to give a talk the 15th of February. But he called us and asked if I could fill in for someone who was sick, and I couldn't really say no. So Saturday morning I began writing it and Sister Wright helped a little with grammar so that was a blessing, but it was a 10 minute or so talk ALL in danish! It actually went really well and I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be so that was a blessing!
This week has just been great! I am so excited for another week and for all the good things we have planned! I love it! It is snowing and super cold today, but at least being a P-day we get to be inside somewhere most of the time so its not so bad! I love you all so much! Have a great week!
