Well this week has been a little rough for me! lots of ups and downs but I guess that is mission life!
It was so fun to see Mitchell this week! I still cant believe you are home and already in school! i loved talking to you!
Our favorite dutch elders and sisters left this past Monday too which was really sad! They were the greatest. Now us as the danes are the group that has been in the MTC the longest! Crazy how weird that is. The MTC time warp at its best. On Sunday at devotional we were able to usher which was hardly any work actually and it let me run into some people from my BYU ward which was a blast to see them.
OHHH and Richard G. Scott came in and talked at our devotional yesterday! He is seriously the cutest man. He talked all about prayer and how it is important and about how we need to keep that communication with Him always. He talked about how God does love us, and how He is always listening to us. It was amazing. I know for a fact that prayers are answered. I have had many experiences just this past week that have shown me that it is true!
Some other things I learned this week is that God is not a god of discouragement and when we have those negative feelings, those are coming from Satan and not God. Also we watched this mormon message about how God suffered for us and how salvation doesn't come cheap, which is why we have to suffer in our own lives. We have to suffer somewhat like Christ did, in order to be like Christ. So when you are suffering just think of Christ and all he suffered for you and you wont feel so bad.
Yesterday was my official hump day! I am now over halfway done with my MTC time! YAY! almost to Denmark!
Well I love you all so very much and love hearing from all of you!!
LOVE YOU!
