Thank you for all the birthday wishes! They mean so much! I love you all so much! It was a super awesome 21st birthday, couldn't have asked for a better day! On monday for p-day we met up with a bunch of missionaries (in my district, zone and even 2 from odense) in KBH and went shopping and then we went ice skating. Granted skating in a skirt is way tough it, was a blast. Then we got to go caroling that night with the Unge Voksne on the huge gågade. It was wonderful, there were probably 10 missionaries and 10 members there singing and it went way well, lots of people stopped to listen and it was a blast.
Then for my birthday on Tuesday, I got away early Happy Birthday wake up call, the race to say Happy Birthday first was unreal. So that was fun, then we had district meeting, I'm telling you I have the best district ever. In district meeting we tried to see how we can make the Churches new Christmas video, A Savior is born, a hit. Have yall seen it? I love the accents in it. Anyways, after district meeting we helped the members set up for the Christmas party that was a little later on that evening. We were having our ward party along with a Christmas concert that night. So we set it up to look like a winter wonderland and helped the missionaries in the concert set their stuff up. Then we had a Christmas party. It was way fun and our friend sonja came and just loved it. It was the perfect place for her to meet people.
In between the Christmas party and the Concert, Ester and the elders kidnapped me (and Sister Mann) and took us out for a birthday dinner and we got pizza. Ester is probably the greatest woman ever, she will do anything to help anyone and is just so honest and loving. I love it. But all in all it was a super great day.
We also got to meet with Sunil this week, he was super excited and made us Indian food and we talked about the plan of salvation. He believes in karma and reincarnation, so it was interesting to see the differences and talk with him about it. It made me realize how much sense the plan of salvation makes. It truly is there to make us happy. That is all we can ask for.
We could also meet with Eline, a friend of ours, this week! It was so great, she is 18 and basically knows everything there is to know, she is working towards being baptized but she had some concerns and is a little concerned with the social aspect but the member we had with us was perfect and knew exactly how to help. It was meant to be.
All in all a really awesome week! Christmas is coming so fast and I just cant wait! I love you all and hope you have a fantastic week. :)
Love you,
Søster Hadfield
