The craziness continues... life never really ever slows down but I guess that is a good thing. :) This week has been great. We had our zone Christmas conference, which was wonderful. We talked all about the purpose or meaning of Christmas. It is truly about Christ and everything He has done and will do for us. We celebrate His birthday. It just makes Christmas even more special. We got to see a great slide show of all the missionaries and it is crazy to see how much people have changed since they were young to now. It just shows that we are continuing to grow everyday. We need to use everyday to the most it can be.
We also got to see the movie "Inside out" I believe. Wow was it good. If you haven't seen it, I'd watch it. It is all about the emotions in this girl and how bad things happen and she loeses it all... anyway really hard to explain but I just loved how much it touched on every emotion and how we as people are built with many different sides. We are happy, sad, angry etc. We have it all and we are built and grow off of our experiences in life. It was just way good. That same day was Sister Moseley's last day here so we said our goodbyes and she left with President. We then got to be with her companion Sister Soelberg the rest of the week. And she is just wonderful. so funny and just a blast to be with.
We got a referal the other day to teach Danish to this American woman who works at the embassy. She was great, we went to her house and it was like being in an American home again. Food, furniture, everything it was so weird. Her husband had been doing lots of family history and she said that since her grandmother died she had been tryign to find her faith again, so we are super excited to see them again. Members truly are the ones who can help missionary work the most. They are able to influence people in a way that us missionaries can't. It is so important.
We have also started teaching a 103 year old woman, she is a friend of a member and just the cutest person ever. Loved singing songs and just talking. It was incredible. She had some super great experiences in her life and it was way fun to meet her.
Hope you all have a great week and just have the greatest Christmas ever! I love you all!
