HEJ!
This week has just been the greatest. I realized my favorite part of missionary work is when you get to see the joy in someone who can finally see the blessings of the gospel and this week after a long year of waiting. I got to see that happen! It was wonderful!
Monday was a wonderful p-day, we had transfers so we said goodbye to the Elders in our district then Sister Mann and I went shopping, :) Then later in the day we were supposed to meet with Kathleen and Tom, but they had to stay late at work sadly, but instead we visited with Jovelin and her husband, who are actually positive. The plan of salvation is key!
Tuesday, we met with Sofie who when we first met her she didn't want to come to church but has now commited herself to church on Sunday. She is nervous but excited about it! Then we met with Jennifer the greatest member ever and she came with us to Copenhagen to meet with Eline. Eline is so prepared but her family wants her to wait and be sure about getting baptized which makes sense. But the lesson went very well and we were able to help her clear up some doubts. Then we got to go contacting with the new Sisters. It was way fun, I've never contacted in uptown Copenhagen so it was a first for the both of us. Always a good time talking with people! Then we had dinner with Jennifer, Malene and Jill and read in the scriptures. It truly is my favorite Tuesday night tradition.
Wednesday, we met with Sunil and he is loving the Book of Mormon, he is always so happy to read and doesn't want to stop. It also helps him to stay focused on the topic we are discussing which helps alot.
Thursday, we had district meeting where we talked all about our purpose as missionaries. It was way great, then we had lunch with Ester, who is awesome, she works on a boat so she is gone a good amount now so whenever she is home she invites us over. Later that evening we had to pick up her keys so Sister Williams and I also got to learn how to quickly make Pølsehorn. She's a great cook! We also tried to meet with Andrea this referral but sadly something happened with her son at school but she is super positive and has already begun reading in the Book of Mormon.
Friday, splits with Sister Williams... I love her! She is so funny and just great. We met with Sunil and helped him understand a little more about how the gospel can bless our lives. Then we traveled in to the temple to meet with the Held family and Jonathan from Odense! He and Helen were going through the temple for their first time so we got permission to go with. So we switched back companions and we did a little weekly planning before the session then went to the temple. The greatest thing was seeing them come into the celestial room and just seeing how happy they were. This is something Jonathan has been working for, for over a year and he was just the happiest when it finally happened. It was the greatest night.
Saturday, we did a tour of the church in the morning and had planned it perfectly so we could make it to Helen and Emils sealing on time but we went to the wrong busstop... it was so sad, so we realized that public transport wasn't gonna get us there. Our last chance was Milla, an awesome member here, so we called her and in 5 minutes she was there driving us to the temple. She was a life saver. The sealing was beautiful and just a great experience. They aer such a cute couple too!
Sunday,we had church and Eline came and loved it. She has such a strong testimony too. Then we had a Chinese fireside, but all the Chinese people we work with seemed to be at the same party, so it ended up being an African guy and missionaries so President gave us a great fireside and it was great. All about the Book of Mormon.
It has been such a good week! I love you all so much and hope you are all doing good! Have a great week! :)
